I had to reinstall Windows last night because of some bad PC problems which I couldn't fix. Anyways, the problem now is that fonts that used to be smooth are now jagged. I've provided a couple images to show the difference of then and now.

It's not just on the internet, btw. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Changed the resolution from what you had before the format?

Installed newest drivers for your video card?

Mini everything is the same as it used to be, drivers + resolution. THat's why I'm wondering what's going on. Maybe it's an option for changing the system font somewhere?

Neigh. Websites are websites. Is it really that bad? It looks like I have the same thing and I barely notice it.

I'm just not used to it, that's all.

Could it be an illusion? Chage your res to the lowest for a minute or two, then change it back to the highest. Looks like a higher res than what you normally have it as, doesn't it? Maybe that's all it is.

Right click on desktop > Properties > Appearance > Effects > Use the following font type, and choose "Clear Type"
