In Europe The PlayStation 3 has gone on sale on the web even though it isn't to be launched in Noverember this year. It is avalible for order at Play.com and is on sale for £550($1020), But in Europe there may be an unexpected shortage of the PS3 because of so many sales. The package offers three games with the consol which are Formular one 06, WarHawk and Singstar.

People were purchasing their Xbox 360's ahead of time so i'm no surprised that you can throw down some cash for the PS3 a little early.

But it is possible that people that order it now may not get their PS3 until christmas time because of an unexpected shortage of PS3's.

I'm definately getting it for crimbo

1,200 bucks for a ps3 in Europe, i'd wait cuz no one would be online lol.
