Title: [censored] You PC Richards
Description: POS service
KITT - June 11, 2006 10:07 PM (GMT)
So I need a new rechargable battery from my Digital camera. Yesterday, I asked my dad to take me to get one. he agreed. So today we went to go buy Meat for a BBQ. While out there, we took a spin to P.C Richards to see if they have them. Now, I have been anti- PC Richards for years. Their service sucks and they dont sell jackshit worth buying. They try to take advantage of buyers. They think customers have no cllue what they are trying to get. I'll admit, Yes there are people that dont know what they are buying and then the sales representatives take advantage.
Back to me,
I walk in, I ask for help. I show him my camera and ask for the specific battery I have. Which I want. Mofo then tells me I need regular rechargable batteries. That they dont stock Kodak batteries. Then the jackass is telling me to buy the Duracell rechargables. Which I already have and I tried.
FUCK YOU PC RICHARDS!!!
Mini-Me - June 11, 2006 10:41 PM (GMT)
I know. He's such an asshole for trying to help, while (I'm assuming) having no expert training in rechargeable batteries or digital cameras.
KITT - June 11, 2006 11:24 PM (GMT)
He wasnt trying to help. He was trying to sell me other shit I dont need.
Mini-Me - June 11, 2006 11:32 PM (GMT)
Did they have what you needed? Perhaps he was trying to give you an alternative.
KITT - June 12, 2006 12:23 AM (GMT)
He tried to tell me they dont stock it, which is bullshit. He was trying to sell me something more expensive. Fuck it, tommorrow im going to Circuit City.

Why would you go to Circuit City if they had it there? OR did you mean the company that makes the camera doesn't make new batteries for it?
Either choice, it still doesn't mean he's an idiot. I've met plenty of employees at Future Shop who say they don't have something when they do or mistake one thing for another. It's part of the job. They have to memorize their entire department. Pardon them if they screw up once in a while. For instance, today while I was in Future Shop buying HL2: Episode 1, I had to ask a person for a copy of the game from the back because there were none on the shelf. The guy came out with HL2 and I told him that it was the wrong game. He went back and got Episode 1 for me. I wasn't pissed off at him for trying to sell me the wrong thing.
Now I'm not saying PC Richard's isn't a crummy place to shop, but just take the time to look at it from their perspective.
KITT - June 12, 2006 01:12 AM (GMT)
Yo, everytime I asked if they had it in stock, he avoided the question everytime. He just kept trying to sell me other things.
Mini-Me - June 12, 2006 01:36 AM (GMT)
That would make it a bad store.
Sweet - June 12, 2006 03:33 AM (GMT)
Hey Kitt I have had the same Experience at this damn Pc shop called Arrow Computers, I was in there to buy a G Force 7800 graphics card, it was priced at $510. anyway i ask the prick that was working there for one of them and i handed him the $510, he then says " oh those actually caose $570, I was like umm it says on the price tag $510, then he tries to tell me that it isn't that price it's $570, so after having this fucking argument for like five minutes he finally sold it to me for $510

Usually the private stores are going to be more expensive than the chain stores. Either way, they should have changed the tag.
I had the same thing happen to me when I bought Day of Defeat: Source. It was priced at $15 and then when I went to buy it, it rang up as $20. I told the cashier and then she got higher authoriity and they finally sold it to me for $15. They said that the $15 was a mistake and was only mean't to stay on for two day prior and then get taken off. So they took it off and then two weeks later I go in and the tag is back up.
Sweet - June 15, 2006 12:09 PM (GMT)
Yes another example!
I went to harvey norman and Bought HL2 epidode 1 yesterday for $40, so today i went on their website and looked at their games, i saw it on there for $30 so now I got riped off $10.
Gaylord Perry - June 15, 2006 09:01 PM (GMT)
Actually you got ripped off 20, cause I've seen it for 20 before.
Kingturtle2007 - June 15, 2006 09:52 PM (GMT)

the topic... at all.
For Example, your replied earlier to this thread.
Your post was "I have never been to PC Richards [insert two ninjas]"
If you never been there, dont post. Simple as that. Stop trying to up your post count. We all know you have the most.
DK - June 15, 2006 10:22 PM (GMT)

It is. It's 19.99 here, but I'm sure the exchange is the difference.
Sweet - June 16, 2006 08:02 AM (GMT)
Yeah it's about double that price here, but maybe a bit less.
