Although Sony has not confirmed any PlayStation 3 game prices, a UK price of £49.99 has been speculated ever since the PlayStation 3's announcement.
The PlayStation 3's main competitor this generation, the Xbox 360, recently had a price reduction on several games, with most titles having a Recommended Retail Price of £39.99

Your kidding me right? The Wii is so original. It's even been labeled a PS3 killer. :whoa: I'm still really interested in the PS3 but $90 is too much. It might also be a marketing strategy in the sense that other competators will lower there prices and then the Sony will match or beat it.

I was semi-joking with that statement. I just don't really plan on buying one. I'm gonna have to get a 360. If the PS3 games do indeed cost $90 of course, then I'll get a 360.
Too big of an investment IMO. Think about it. That's $700 for the system and one game.

It's a lot of cash for sure. I was planning on picking a 360 up but the games haven't been appealing in my opinion. Although, some of the ones that are coming out are looking really good so I might reconsider.

Yeah, it always takes awhile for a new system to get off the ground. new games will be coming out.
At least I won't miss GTA IV if I get a 360. :P
