I took function I would rather have a ipod last like 50 hours than have the one that looks cool that last for like 2 hours on a single charge :ninja:

Compare the A-10 Warthog with a Comet ( Airplane ), the Comet was a great looking Passenger airliner.. only one tincy wincy little problem..
The Windows would pop out during long flights killing most if not all of the crew...

The A-10 Warthog was this ugly fighter aircraft..... but you know what? That thing kicks ass, it sends terrorists screaming and it saves ( Save FF incidents ) Americans ( and their allies ) lives.

Well if its something that people don't look at... like a computer, you can put it under the desk so nobody really sees if its sexy or not, then function.

But say if you have something handheld, that people see all the time, then fashion.

I would rather have an ipod then an MP3 player the ipod can hold more music and can hold Podcasts and just look better too.

Another thing people see. A MP3 player that has a 30GB hard drive and hold 15000 songs is not better than an MP3 player with a 30GB hard drive that holds 7500 songs. And bigger isn't always better in terms of storage. I would take my 30GB player over a 60GB iPod any day. Why? Funtionality.

I prefer function over fashion any day. I mean, what is the point in buying a new tv that will last 4 months, only because it's "hip and cool looking". I'd rather get one that lasts years, and that costs less so you don't have to replace it and end up losing money. Of course that was just an example I made up but seriously that's what it's like. As you said about the iPod, it's way overrated. In my Computer Applications class I had to do an assignment in which I search MP3 players and find the best value. There are a lot of cheaper MP3 players out there that will get the job done better than the iPod. But, since the iPod has so much damn publicity, it attracts customers. As I noted above, my sister has gone through 4 iPod's. Talk about a piece of crap. :ermm:

I had a Green 4GB iPod Mini for a few months until a ni99er from my shop class went into my bag and took it. It had a crappy battery in it. Lasted for 3 hours and died. After it was stolen. I bought a 30 GB iPod Photo from my friend for $150. Its flawless.


However, I do agree with Mini, there are better MP3 players out there.

No, every time one of the them broke, it had to be sent back in for inspection and then replacement. So, naturally, there's no extras. However she did get the nice new version that hasn't broken yet.

Well think about this:

Bob the janitor is working really hard at the college he mops up for. He's thinking, "Hey, I'm fucking bored; my life is a pit of depression and doubt". So he goes to the bathroom, checks out his moustache, tightens his janitor tie, and then goes down to the local strip club. He then realizes he can't get in without paying some money so he goes down to the supermarket and askes for a couple oranges. He buys the oranges that look pretty fucking good but of course they taste like shit.

some just not, I voted function, well...I just don't care the look of it.
Like when I play NFS:UG2, I just keep upgrading the performance of the car, not the look of it.
