Yeah, the $600 model is a lot better, but it's quite expensive. Who has $600 to throw out on a console? (I'll have to pitch in a few bucks to get a PS3 for Christmas)

I agree it does sound like a steep price, but if you think about what you're getting for your money, it's a great deal. The Blu-Ray will be awesome.

I can afford this guys! In denmark, once you turn 18, the goverment will provide you with money (about 200-600$ each month), As long as you're studying.

the controlers are awsome you can get ones where instead of having analog sticks you move the controler in the air :D

The Nintendo Wii's controller is better.

You can sword fight realisticly with the Wii's controller.

The Wii graphics arent horrible, besides the Graphics arent everything, Nintendo is all about Gameplay and thats what I buy games for anyways.

The Wii will probably appeal to people who have enjoyed Nintendo's games in the past and are looking forward to not only the games the Wii will offer, but its cheap price as well. The Wii will get a lot of sales just because of its cost, which was a smart move in my opinion. Although the name sounds kind of corny, it should be a pretty good system. I am not interested in buying it though.

I might be interested in getting it if they release any new legend of zelda games for it because I always played them on N64.

I'm stoked about the PS3. The games are looking to be really good. If you look at the price that the PS3 is compared to if you were to build a computer to run games like it can, it's fairly inexpensive.

As for exchange rates, the only money worth more than the US Dollar is the Euro. The Australian Dollar is, I believe, 85 cents to one American Dollar. Not bad. :)
