Title: The Progression Of Technology
Description: Where will it end?

Mini-Me - April 2, 2006 01:02 AM (GMT)
Where will it end? We've got TV capable phones. MP3 players in phones. Phones in MP3 players. Cameras in phones and phones in cameras. My question is where will it end?

I can only see things improving in performance and size, along with add-ons and other accesories.

Other ideas or points on the matter?

Technology is making us SOOOOOO lazy as a people.

Im starting to think that technology is going to continue to make us all obese people. But I dont know.

Where technology stops? :dizzy: Pretty soon in 6 years we will have the first thinking robot I heard. Pretty cool.

Well, one thing the beats all of those new developments hands down, is the "Mental Typewriter" - read here to see why.

In the not so near future also, 10megapixel camera phones with optical zoom lenses, solar powered mobile phone batteries, virtual headsets with PS1 graphics (for mobile phones), etc.

Although some things can only improve in performance, size and speed, along with add-ons and accessories. Take Moore's law:
QUOTE
"The number of transistors and resistors on a chip doubles every 18 months."

This proves that to some extent.

What website did you rip off that topic from Mini-Me? :haha:

Well let's see...

that one plus that one. So 2...and those other 5. 7...plus those 15 or so others...carry the two...gives us 22.

So I've ripped from no websites.

That's funny.

I agree with G-funk, although I hate being lazy I like the new technology but I learned that people spend more time looking for the remote when they can just turn the channels up front and saved time. :ninja: :ninja:

Kingturtle2007 - April 3, 2006 11:12 PM (GMT)

How can you disagree with something that is real? :ninja: :ninja:

Gaylord Perry - April 3, 2006 11:16 PM (GMT)
I'm really not. I wrote that just for the post count.

Sweet - April 5, 2006 01:21 PM (GMT)
umm yes.. i don't know what too say about this... issue

Kingturtle2007 - April 5, 2006 03:11 PM (GMT)
I guess, the only time when technology ends is when all things are solved, and we humans would hardly even move our body parts. :ninja: :ninja:

skunkoncrunk - April 5, 2006 03:20 PM (GMT)
That's crazy.

There's this one device invented by the Japanese that's basicly a human remote control. You put this on the head of whoever and then like controlling an RC car, you can control them. Although, not to the full extend, you only really have control of their feet and arms.

Kingturtle2007 - April 5, 2006 03:25 PM (GMT)
Wow, soon about 5 years from now, that device is going to be like the ipod today, almost everyone will have it. :ninja: :ninja:
