I think the ozone layer is a bunch of crap, so is global warming, we have only had charts on this crap for a few hundred years, and in reality... what happend was there was a small Ice age in the middle Ages through about 1800, thats where it all came from.

Well i reckon if america gets too bossy someones going too stand up and drop a bomb on them and then everyone dies. But North Korea and Iran are up too no good and could wipeout all the western peoples! And those islamic terrorists are sooo selfish. In my opinion, North Korea is the biggest threat.

North Korea perhaps, Iran is just going too try and attack Israel, but Israel thankfully wont let that happen.

Israel is just a skape-goat for everyone else, People blame Israel for being too hostile, lets face it.
They are surrounded by enemys that are just too damn stuborn too stop attacking them, Palestine is sure too be dumbasses in this area now.
Egypt and Syria attacked Israel ( Funded by Soviet Equipment ), and they got their asses kicked in a matter of 5 days.

Israel is a badass who can defend itself from just about anyone.

America is also a scapegoat, Europe blames us, Iraq was dangerous, no matter if they had WMD's or not, their goverment was not right, and needed too be taken out, we just needed a excuse too do so.

I've heard however that Russia is selling nuclear secrets too Iran, which in turn means the Russians are probably trying too loosely attack Israel, America, Great Britain... who knows.

Israel have brought a great deal of there present strife onto themselves. You remember that in the past there have been a number of truces between the various Palestinian suiciding bombing groups and Israel that have fallen apart? Almost without exception, they fell apart because of Israeli agression, not Palestinian, which Palestine responded to.

This is a post I made in a similar debate on another forum, so some bits may be slightly out of context:

Israel are completely in the wrong, even moreso than Palestine - the Palestinians are conducting a war of resistance, whereas Israel is fighting a war of conquest. That's a big difference. Insurgent may be rather pro-Arabic, but your views are just as offensive to me, as his (the 'Jew' comment at the end aside). Before you start calling me racist, or anti-semitic bear one simple thing in mind - I'm of Jewish descent; my Grandfather survived the halocaust, so I'm well aware of what the Jews have had to deal with.

Perhaps I should bring in some more facts. One event in particular.

"On Thursday, September 16, 1982, Lebanese Christian Phalangist troops, with the IDF looking on from surrounding rooftops, entered the Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Shatilla in Beirut and, bent on avenging Bashir Gemayel's killing, began massacring the residents. The killing continued until Saturday morning. At least 700 - 800 were killed, with some estimates ranging up to 2,000. Years later (in 2001), there was pressure to charge Ariel Sharon as a war criminal for doing nothing to try to stop the massacres (see also Kahan Commission report below)."

This was a massacre of unarmed, civilians refugees that was essentially the work of the IDF. This was the work of Ariel Sharon, who is currently the leader of Israel (as you no doubt know. You sound like the two of you would get on well). Then their is the likud party's links to the Stern Gang (terrorists). Essentially, Israel is run by War Criminals, violaters of the geneva convention and terrorists.

Then we get some Nazi facets starting to creep in. Take, as an example, the highways criss-crossing the west bank. These have been built by the Israeli occupiers, for exclusive settler/Israeli use. Similar to the type of segregation employed by Nazi's in the halocaust. Similarly, on so called 'shared' roads, Palestinians are excluded from the use of the roads for the most of the day, while minimal amounts of Settler traffic moves up and down. Then, for a few hours, the masses of Palestinian traffic backed up are allowed on, but it is only a few hours. And this is in the Palestinian 'state'.

• Of the 1948 British-mandated Palestine, Israel takes up 78%. Since 1967 the Is-raelis have occupied the other 22% which is the Palestinian homeland.
• Israel proper is 21,060 square kilometres and Palestine is 6,220 square kilometres.
• There are currently 170 Israeli settlement on Palestinian land with 213,672 settlers in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights. There are another 170,400 in what used to be Arab East Jerusalem.
• Settlement boundaries enclose nearly 10% of West Bank land.
• There are 300 miles of settler-only ‘by-pass’ roads paid for by the U.S. at a cost of US$3 billion.
• The fourth Geneva Convention, to which Israel is a signatory, states that ‘the Occupying power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies’. This is exactly what the Israelis are doing with there settlements.
• Since the Oslo Accord some 200 square kilometres of Palestinian farm and pasture land have expropriated for settlements highways and infrastructure; 80,000 olive and fruit trees have been ripped up because they were in the way of construction.
• Since 1967 East Jerusalem (formally Arab) has expanded from 6.5 to 70 square kilometres, incorporating the land that previously belonged to 28 separate Palestin-ian villages. Israeli-only satellite settlements now ring East Jerusalem. Their popu-lation is projected to grow to 250,000 in the next 15 years
• Since 1967 80% of the houses built in East Jerusalem are for Israelis only. East Jerusalem requires 20,000 homes for Palestinians, but zoning conditions and ex-pensive permits prevent much Palestinian construction.
• Since 1967, 2,000 Palestinian homes have been destroyed in East Jerusalem.
• On average Jerusalem spends 7 times more money on services for its Israeli homes than it does on Palestinian homes.
• Average annual income for a Israeli is US$17,000, for a Palestinian it is US$1,700.
• Settlers represent 10% of the West Bank population, but get 37% of the water.
• 26% of West Bank Palestinian homes have no pumped water supply, and Israeli settlers pay three times less.
• The Israeli military have done US$350 million worth of damage to Palestinian public structures and in a year the Palestinian Government spends US$200 million.


Now, let's go on to some of the other stuff. First off, everywhere the Palestinians go, they have to go through Israeli army Checkpoints. To cross through these, they require special ID cards. The Israeli soldiers can (and do) sporadically (and with no justification) take there ID cards making it next to impossible for them to travel. Most Palestinians have to go throught several checkpoints a day going to and from there place of employment (and that's just if they actually have a form of employment). The Israeli soldiers deliberately take the cards and then delay returning them to intentionally torment the Palestinians in question. Then there's the IDF policy of breaking the bones of Palestinian suspects (and there is video footage of them doing so). And as for bulldozing homes, it's far worse than that. They'll bulldoze homes not for any reason, but only if you are related to a suicide bomber, or if they 'suspect' that there are tunnels under it, or even if it blocks the view of there positions. And then there's the fact that the Israeli army are known to randomly shoot at Palestinian houses when the feel like it. (Again there is video footage of a Palestinian house coming under fire, while an American couple are visiting following the death of there daughter who was intentionally run over by an Israeli in a bulldozer.

Then there's the berlin wall (or as the Israeli's prefer to call it 'Security Fence'). This is a land grab. It does not follow the border, it is grabbing parts of the West Bank. In places, Villages and the various plantations that the village people depend on for sustinance are seperated by the wall. In other places, centuries old groves have been bulldozed in order to build the wall - again, destroying the livelihood of many Palestinians.

And there the Palestinians who fled during the first war - many of them still possess the keys to there homes, homes now occupied by Israelis. And the facts provided above should give you a bit of a glimpse of what it's like in the Westbank if you're Palestinian.

Its Israels territory anyways, Palestine is a stupid excuse for the muslims too have something other than part of Jerusalem with their stamp of aprooval.

First of all, the correct term is Middle Eastern, while generaly Arab means someone from the Arabian Peninsula, it has since come too be used for Muslims.

Arabs are just that, on the Arab peninsula, Israel is NOT on the Arab Peninsula.

Essentialy, Palestiniens are just Israelis who are not Jewish or claim too be Israeli.

Palestine.. is the area inbetween the Jordan river and the Mediterranean Sea, which is pretty much if not completely Israel.

Once again, "My book says [x]... so there". The region was considered Palestine for a period of about 2 millenia, and was inhabited by the antecendents of the modern Palestinians. The Israeli claims are tenous at best - similar to me returning to where my ancestors lived (say the Rabbi of Padua) and demanding that I be allowed to live there. By that logic, I have a right to live in Padua, and claim the land (along with other of my and the Rabbi of Padua's relatives) as our own nation. It's imperialism, pure and simple.

There origins are from the Arabian penisula - Arabs took over basically the entire region, so Palestinians are Arabic - and they speak Arabic.

Arabs stretch into North Africa as well.

Those would be people of Arabic Descent.
Let me elaborate, I'm 25% German, that does NOT mean I am a German, it however means that i am of German Descent, those people down there however were once Arabs, but mingled which in turn took that title.
And the region was not half as widely considered Palestine for the period of that two milenia, it was usualy refered too as Judea.

Judea and Israel were two of the most used names, however they were two different kingdoms in the area for some time.

Anyways just because you can dismiss the Bible and make a "Politicaly correct" Statement about it, does not make it wrong.

Let me explain threats from current nations-

China: They are badasses, most likely any war with them would cost millions of lives.
Iran: A bunch of nuts who said Israel ( Americas ally ), needs too be wiped off the face of the earth.
North Korea: Crazy people who are working on nukes for some unknown reason.
Islamic Terrorists: Isnt that obvious? They attack us ( America, and the UK if i remember right ), for just trying too keep the peace ( Dont start dissing America and its allies.. i hear books about that every day from wineys ).

I think that india could be up too no good because they started a nuclear program awhile back and might plomp a bomb on pakistan. And indonesias hiding something i can tell because they don't like aussies like schapelle corby but the muslim aussies like that one that smuggled heroin she got off lightly and they know she did it purposely but schapelle corby got some boobie loading up her boogie board bag full of canabis. The greatest threat to the world is human species. Regardless of where they come from or what stupid ideology they subscribe to. I don't mean that offensive to anybody - its just as stupid to disregard a God as it is to embrace a false one.

Anyways aside from that ( Dont reply too that ), I heard the story about China Invading Taiwan, and i was wondering why they would do it? More landmass maybe?

Chine has plenty of room. It wants Taiwan for the same reasons it wants Tibet and Hong Kong - they view it as a part of China.

If I were China, I would just threaten the hell out of them till thgey gave up, although it wouldnt work.

As long as the US Navy has a protective shield around Taiwan they'll be fine. But if Bush continues his policy - Iran or Syria - China may consider making a move.
