GTAC is now going to be holding a Referral Contest.

FAQ:

What exactly is it?
A contest in which members compete to bring the most people to the site.

Cool. So, what do you win?
The winner will become part of the 'Gangsta' group, and in addition, may choose one forum of their choice to moderate. (Excluding News sections)

So how do we know who referred who?
Members will have people they referred post an introduction topic and note somewhere in their post who referred them.

But what if people cheat!?
Not going to happen, if you are caught making another account and saying you referred them you will be disqualified from the contest. Using Proxies will also result in disqualification.

So that's how it will work. Everyone go out and compete. :)

Second Question: Am I eligble - as one of the 3 people who actually joined as a result of this contest, does that mean that I'm not allowed to enter?

Third question: Are there any post requirements - eg the new members have to make x number of posts?

And when you say 'proxies' what do you mean?

It's still going on, and sure you could join. Also they have to at least make a introduction post saying you brought them. Proxies are used to change your Ip Address so you can register a new account yourself.
